Access the power of plants
Support yourself, your community & the land by working with bioregional & abundant plant medicines.
A Flexible Approach
Donation & Scholarship Models
Many of us face barriers to accessing wealth, a systemic inequity known as financial privilege. I want to make sure everyone can access my services in the name of economic justice, which is why I offer donation-based and scholarship models for herbal consultations.
This means you can choose how much to donate via e-transfer, PayPal, or Ko-fi after your consult. Remember: no one is turned away for lack of funds. I offer two fully covered (scholarship-based) consultations each month. If you would like access to one, please email hi@halehart.com.
If you prefer to pay in increments or would like to exchange services, skills, or gifts instead, I’m happy to arrange that - just reach out via email.
Accessing Plant Medicines
I don’t currently have a botanical dispensary set up to ship custom formulas to my clients, though I plan to in the future. Instead, I make recommendations based on your specific needs and preferences - including taste, location, and budget - and provide several options for purchasing herbs, such as local health food stores or online suppliers.
I also work with high-quality dispensaries that can create and ship custom formulas within Canada (this is often my preferred method). For clients who can grow or safely and ethically wildharvest herbs, I’m also happy to support you in learning to make your own herbal medicines.
Remote & In-Person Sessions
We can meet remotely or in person, depending on your location and preference. I offer home consultations in the so-called Greater Toronto Area and Muskoka region.
For remote sessions, I use either phone or Google Meet. If you prefer another platform, let me know and we may be able to set it up. Many of my clients meet with me virtually because it’s more accessible for both them and myself.
When meeting in person, I generally take thorough COVID precautions, including testing in advance and masking, particularly with clients who request this (e.g., immunocompromised folks).
Rescheduling Policy
I understand that scheduling can be difficult, especially for folks living with disabilities, chronic illness and/or psycho-emotional conditions. You may cancel up to three hours in advance of your session without charge and reschedule within three months of the original date by emailing me at hi@halehart.com.
Otherwise, a $40 cancellation fee applies. Thank you for honoring my time!
