The Inner Sanctum Course

This course is for self-identified survivors who want to work with plant allies on a physical, as well as psychospiritual, level, to experience greater ease and embodiment. You will be introduced to relevant herbal allies and their actions, ways to connect with plants and the elements, and simple Earth-based practices you can integrate into your daily life.Coming soonHi! I'm Aleksa, the creator of this course and a survivor, too.
When I looked for help after my traumatic experiences, I realized accessible tools for survivors were limited and especially not nature-based. I started crossing paths with other survivors and recognizing how often we're invalidated, isolated and silenced. This can understandably lead many survivors to go through mental health struggles, addictions and chronic illness.
In response to this, I created The Inner Sanctum as a gentle and effective way to move forward after traumatic events, by accessing the wealth (material and spiritual) that plants can offer. I hope that The Inner Sanctum can fit into your self, community and professional care and encourage you to access your creativity while doing 'trauma work'.
My experiences as a sexual assault prevention educator (SAPE) at Brown, a peer support partner through the Brown org End Sexual Violence (ESC) and public mental health master's student helped me to dream this together for you. Since I want to provide sensitive, trauma-focused care, I have also undergone a practitioner training on healing sexual trauma via The Breathe Network.
